Vis or Seibon
So I celebrate my 21st on sunday and man did the cash roll in this birthday.
Im doing an h22 swap late summer early fall so im not focused on the engine or performance right now. However, I am dressing up the outside of the civic.
I've got a quote of 315 from a local dealer on a Vis and Seibon Carbon Fiber Good. Fair price and its local. But my question is which one is better. I know both are reputable but I hear clear coat nightmares and whatnot. Personal opinions?
Secondly, If i get a carbon fiber hood would it be ghetto to put on unpainted lips (I have a silver car) I kind of like the look and my stock "sideskirts" (for lack of a better word) are black as well. So what do you think?
Oh and today I ordered a type R cluster, mugen shift ****, getting new tint this weekend, front license plate plugs, ctr shift boot and clear foglights (i know yellow are jdm but I hate the yellow) All in all my civic is getting some tlc. I recently detailed and put a system in as well.
After the hood and lips Im getting 16" wheels and springs (not coilovers) and Im done. However Im not getting the springs til after the swap since the h22 is a lot heavier I might not want them up front.
Cliffs: Vis or Seibon for CF Hood?

I cant help answer ur first question, but I can give u my opinion on your second. Id say keep your black skirts (if they are OEM). they look great with silver (id know I have a silver 99 H.B). if you dont already, get a Si front splitter, and paint it black. that will look great with your new C/F hood. I think it gives great contrast to the paint. HTH
