depends which VW GTi your talking about, but no they are not turbo'd at least no over here in Europe

EDIT: cant say which one is quicker as i don't know which VW you are talking about, but i would guess Civic

is this because you are trying to decided which car you want to buy? just buy the one you like the look of/better condition

the gti's push around im guesing 200 hp maybe 220.. b18c w/ turbo and a built block can push 350.. civic= cheaper.. roll the civic.
