RE: weird feeling while braking hard
It prolly is the ABS kicking in. Does it make any clunking noises? My dad needed his brakes worked on in his Jeep grand cherokee a lot when he had it because they were horribly made. I haven't heard anything about the 7th gen honda's haveing a porblem with that though.

Rotors are just like big metal discs that your brakes grip to stop your car... they'll look something like this:
If they get old or worn out it can cause problems, like brakes not gripping right or loose, wobbly feeling. Replacing them is easy enough... I've done it before and I'm a retard when it comes to cars.
And yeah on an EX it's probably the ABS.. I have a 96 EX with ABS and I'd never had ABS before.. scared the lving crap out of me the first time I had to brake hard.

i gotta 98 ex but im pretty sure its not my ABS. I just need to get this oversized wrench to fit my lugnuts cuz they need a special 19MM thin walled socket nut.. so the socket wrench has to be bigger than the stock one they give u. So i cant even look at my rotors. Does it matter wut kind of rotors u get if ur in dier need of em

If your not hearing the clunking sounds, then your rotors are warped like Pham10m. Go to the parts store and get them machined, buy some new pads, reinstall, and start braking like a normal person so you don't have to get your rotors turned every year.[sm=gears.gif]
Pham10m do the same thing (you will probably need new rotors), it's easy......

It really just depends on how many rotors you'll need... They come up on froogle for about $15-30 each.. you'll probably wanna go on the high end of that for a place like autozone... 30-40 maybe? I've never had to replace my rotors on my civic. I paid about 25 when I had to replace a rotor on my old voyager... so I'm assuming they wont be too much.
