what is the best way to do a engine swap

Default what is the best way to do a engine swap

i wanted to know if i can use the fuse boxes that r in my car on my d16y8 .
i would like to know if i am going to have to take my dash off and switch everything out or can i use all of the same wires . i have a 2001 honda civic lx thanks toanybody that canhelp

The only engine worth swapping is the K20, and it is more money then you can shake a stick at

no u can keep the harness and the fuse box but depending on what motor u might have to modify the stock harness and buy a jumper harness to the ecu

by the way, in case it wasn't clear before, YOU CAN'T PUT A D16Y8 IN A 01+ CIVIC

and to mxs this is my first time on a forum so no i didn't know that i could go back
and reply a without starting a new thread and by the way you can put any engine
in any car alls it takes is time and when i put the d16y8 in my 01+civic ill make sure
and post the picture.

Umm, you know that the D16Y8 only has 127 hp, right?

ya but it a start its got more hp then the engine i have in my car now i got headers for it and i going to put a cold air intake on it and a turbo its the first engine that i bought for my car im going to buy a beter engine later on down the road.

sounds good, but why not save up that something big? Is the 01 that slow? I know that would **** me off if I couldn't zip around.

ya only 115hp well i got engine and transmisson for a good price oh ya and my transmisson
is just about out on my car
