Default What a fun day...

Well yesterday I got a bunch of the parts I ordered online. I got my fogs, grill, and intake. I got the grill an intake done pretty quick. I decided it was time to stop putting off putting in my rear deck speakers so I put those in instead of the fogs. What a pain they were... I did my door speakers last week and it took 10 min, I've had the rear deck speakers sitting around. It took me a lot longer than I hoped to do it. I had to pull out the rear seats, all the hinges, side panels, rear deck, pout them in, then put it all back on. I had tons of fun doing it (sarcasm), but it needed to be done. Here's some pics of the car and engine and what not. My lip should be here Tuesday.

The gutted back end (found 8 cents):

I'm digging the grill! Is it painted, or just black? I can't really tell by the pic.

I just recently put some pioneers in my rear deck as well. It is a pain, but well worth it!

Nice job. Where did you get the grille? I like it, I am looking for one. I will keep that in mind when I get ready to do mine (audio system that is).

should have installed the speakers from the bottom that way if you ever have to pull them again or plan on swapping them out for something nicer then you can easily swap em out

I looked at bottom-mounting the speakers on mine but it didn't seem right. For one thing there was no room for the magnets to the spring rods that hold the trunk lid open. So I went from the top and put the speakers on top of the carpet stuff and everything, for maximum clearance underneath. It was hard to reach the screws with the window right there.
