well call me old fashion then..... cause my old 66impala HAD to have high octane fuel otherwise it would knock and ping like a ****.... i figure its beter than the cheap stuff.....
hell my friends drives a new FJ turd that says he has to run high octane but he has already put the cheap stuff in it several times.LOL and might still be using it.LOL

well ive been running the high stuff in my 94 just cause the motor condition being unknow and the gas in the tank was siting for who knows how long... so im pumping the good stuff thru it for at least 2more tanks then ill see if i feel a difference with the cheaper stuff which is what i almost ALWAYS put in my 99.. every now and again i splerge....
im also gonna put some nice synthetic oil in the 94 on my next oil change. see how that feels.....
but in the winter i tend to use the higher stuff all the time and pour in HEET and injector cleaner in as well once a month or so... just to prevent any problems...

You guys talk about premium fuel as if you're treating your car to something special, which is not the case. If you don't have a setup that requires it, there is 100% no reason to run it, period.
Do some research on fuel grades, and it'll all make sense
