Smile What Muffler?

Heyy, I Just installed a SRI in my car,
makes it sound a lot better,
but i don't have enough right now to buy a complete exhaust from Greddy or Apexi or one of those companys,
What do you think i should do to make it sound deeper without getting that real Rice sound.
I want it deep, but not raspy and really nasty sounding.
???

Please Give Your Input.

-Chase

Those are all good company's, but also expensive. I have a 95 coupe with a magnaflow cat-back and it sounds great. You could just get one of there mufflers, or save up and by the whole cat-back. Just my 2 cents.

So you're just going to be putting a muffler on stock piping? That'll work fine if you just want sound, but it will give you zero power gain.

At any rate, look into Twin-Loop mufflers on ebay. They give a nice deep sound without being raspy.

If you have a muffler shop near you order a vibrant tip 2.5'' and have them build you the rest and you will spend like 300 on the whole thing bro.

Yeah, saving up for a good mandrel-bent cat-back is your best bet. You could also get a muffler and resonator and take them to an exhaust shop to have a custom-bent exhaust fabbed up, but if they crush-bend the tubes like a lot of shops do, you'll lose out on exhaust flow.

But the loss is so minuet that you will never notice unless you are running a fully built motor.
