What would HCF do
ok soo can i get every ones opinion....
yesterday, i am walking out a verizon store, and mmy car was parked directly in front of the door...
well there was side walk....THEN the parking lot.
any ways as i am standing in front of my car i am on my phone, and the spot to the left of me is a handy cap. and i see this linkon town car with a couple in the 70's or 80's start to creep in the spot next to me, i wasnt parked even close to the line, and she managed to hit my car and scrape my bumper!!
and when they got out the acted like nothing happened!
i said polightly, excuse me...you just hit my car.
with out thinking the lady snapped out me "ohh no i didnt, that mark was already there, i didnt hit you"
and i start to argue with her, and say how i saw her and try'd to point it out to her how my paint was on her car,
and she told me that i wasnt aloud to call the police and walked off.
to make a long story short....
i called the police. and filed a report, and now i have all her insurance information...
if the lady wasnt such a b*tch to me i wouldnt have called the police but just because i am still alot younger then her doesnt mean i should have been treaded so poorly by her
i've pointed it out to a few people and they say they wouldnt have noticed if i didnt show them,,,
i mean the most they could do is get me a new bumper and fix what ever broke in side.
it cant be that much..
but should i go through the hassle of all of that??
i mean if i do actualy go through with it, i would want to do it my self and keep the extra money,
would that be messed up??
what would HCF do??
if you want pictures let me know?

Yeah screw that old hag, DEFINITELY contact your insurance people. She's just giving you attitude in hopes that you won't file a report and she won't lose the license she probably should have had taken away 15 years ago.
Think of it this way... How many other beloved project cars is this bitch going to casually slam into before the problem is dealt with?
It really isn't that much hassle, your insurance company will do all the work. All you have to do is pick up the phone, Good luck!
Also, I know what it's like to have a little sympathy for someone's situation, and think twice about something like this. (yes, ********, I DO have feelings from time to time ). I came out to find a huge scrape mark across the back bumper of my Civic years ago. Turns out it was hit by my neighbor while he was trying to parralel park behind me. The thing is, he didn't hit the car hard enough to feel it, he just brushed it enough to where you could hear it happen. Problem was, dude was deaf. I felt for his situation but the fact of the matter was, he my ****ing car and caused damaged, and for that he was going pay and make things right.

You're paying for her social security, why not get some of it back ESPECIALLY if she's going to act like this. End her driving career thus taking away a large degree of her freedom and let her spend the rest of her time in this world wishing she had initially taken responsibility for the hit. Good luck with it all!
