Come on... this guy wants $2000 for an eg without an engine? That's almost as bad as the guy that I found that wants $10k for an eclipse gsx (roughly twice the kbb "excellent condition" value) and all the guys that want $10-12k for a civic si.

Anyway, while looking for an ek SI I found this and figured I'd share this guy's stupidity.

Haha thats funny you posted that i just seen that (i'm from the pittsburgh area) and all though rust free hatches are hard to come by, that is still a lot for a shell.

For the mods it has, plus it has no rust - it looks good to me! But I don't like it's hood! How much would an engine + install cost?

 

ya i agree 2k to much maybe 1200 to 1500. minus 500 for the fugly hood..lol...

to put a engine in ther depend what motor/tranny set up, prob around 800 or so for a stock motor and tranny, then some fluids gaskets ect.....

 

rolling shells usually go for $500-$800

sometimes you just want to f**king slap somebody... $17k for an ITR?... the retail on one of those is about $10k. F**king rediculous.

And I think I'm going to call about this one... $3500 sounds pretty good for a gsr rolling shell... /sarcasm

and what's with all the people that list things worth 10x more than what they're selling as possible trades? Does anyone honestly think someone's going to trade a Mazda RX-7 or a Supra for a rusted out cavalier?

*edit: and this rsx has a nice "Mugen" body kit (If you don't know what the Mugen kit looks like on an rsx, you probably won't find this funny)

Most of the time its people who put a lot of money into their cars and than try to sell it for a ridiculous price, not considering that when people buy a car they dont necesseraly buy it for the mods, if anything that just makes it worse.
To get that car running it would cost a total of 7k if not more, with that money you can buy a much newer civic with stock parts. Only an idiot would buy that car for 2k lol.
