Default what year??

alright. i am in love with si's. but don't know all that much about them. so i was wondering whether the experts, which is you, could help me out. i am planning on buying a civic si, from year 98-2000. but i have no clue which is the best on power, and so forth. i like the 2000, which is mainly what i have been looking at. but an si is an an si to me. so please give me the details, or any sites that can give me an insight,. thank you!

if you're looking for a 98 Si, you won't find one!
(unless it's Canadian, and then it's actually an EX)

SiRs were built in the early nineties, and had a B16A engine. the newer Si's (99-00) have a B16A2, which is a very good motor. There is nearly zero difference between the 99 and 00, as far as I know. Hell I cant even think of a difference, I just assume there has to be some.

if we're talking about 99-00, the Si is the USA model and the SiR is the Canadian model, of basically the same car.
