what faster in a str8 drag race a stock 05 civic type r or a stock uk spec bmw 330ci. any perfomance figure would be helpful.

 

I hav absolutely no clue on the specs on either of theese cars. but I would really assume the Bmer would kick some serious ***!

 

I say driver's race... win for the Type R if you're a competent driver. The 330Ci weighs about 3,400 lbs, and is rated at 225 hp, whereas the CTR weighs about 2,650 with 200 hp. Keep in mind, though, that the 330 makes peak torque (214 lb/ft.) @ 3,500 rpm, while the CTR makes 144 lb/ft @ 5,900, so you have to know how to handle it. If you avoid the powerband like the plague (as most Honda drivers tend to do), you're toast.
