theres exceptions to all the stereotypes, but i will be the first to admit that a majority of civic "enthusiasts" are ricers. just the same as an american car driver should admit that american cars are not known for being as reliable as Japanese cars. doesnt mean that some of us dont modify our cars properly, and doesnt mean that some american cars will run fine for a long time, but the odds are stacked against us on both counts.

And anyone even mildly intelligent about the automotive world knows you don't buy a car until it's been on the market at least 3 or 4 years.
