well came across this civic on ebay and they have like chrome caps over ALOT of bolts under the hood... and well I REALY LIKE THAT!!!!!!!! realy cleans it up well under the hood from just looking at some rusty bolt heads...
i asume they probably like just glue over the bolt head which shouldnt be a problem at all... nothing a hot glue gun cannt make them stick good

ANYONE know where i can find something like these?

id put these suckers all over the place if i could find where to buy these from!

 

Like THESE? Check motorcycle stores. They use them more on bikes than cars.

I know I have seen then at JP Cycles. I dont remember seeing deep ones, but thatsd not to say they dont have them.

 

do they have like larger bolt size caps? o rjust the the typical 10mm size?

They have all sizes. They make them for all motorcycles, so they have tons of sizes. Just do a search on JPcycles for "Bolt Cap"

 

Why the hell would you want a round piece of metal GLUED to the tops of your bolts?!

 

cause it cleans it up........ i dont like looking at alot of bolt heads under my engine bay and if i can get something to cover up some that would be great for my style....

ill probably paint them black... but i just like the looks of that! something small and different... something most people dont have....

 

Yeah, not being able to easily access bolt heads for maintenence is awesome

 

They aren't glued to the bolt head. Most of the high end ones clip to the bolt head so that you can snap them off it you need to to get at the bolt.
