where to buy parts
ok so i'm rebuilding my d15b7. just back stock (i love my mpgs). where would be the cheapest place to get all my essentials? i need all the gaskets/seals. rings, main bearings, rod bearings, valvestem seals, oil pump, main, head, intake, exhaust, valve cover, oil pan gaskets etc. (i know i probably forgot a few but you get the picture). advance has a set for $260 that includes almost everything i need. it looks like it has everything, but ill probably get into the project and find something it didn't include. but it definately includes the bulk of it. is this a good deal. or is there somewhere online that would be cheaper?

thanks for the help. i'm just kinda lookin around cuz i want this motor rebuilt right, but i wanna do it as cheaply as possible. also, im goin all thru this motor top to bottom. any suggestions on some cheap mods that might add a few horsepower? like i said i wanna keep it mostly stock to keep my mpg but id be willing to do a few small mods. i can't really think of anything, but maybe you guys know of a few tricks...

yea i actually bought another d15b7and it has the header/dual downpipe off of a d16z6, so i figured that was good enough. i may add a cat back in the future. also i have this motor all pulled apart and it looks a little rough (it appears it burnt up a couple valves and the pistons look like ****) but if i have to buy new internals, would it work to use the internals for a d16z6? i know the bore was the same, it was the stroke that was different. would that work? having d16z6 internals in a d15b7 block with non-vtec head?
