totally forgot short shifter. I HIGHLY recommend a short shifter and polyurtehane shift bushings, even if the short shifter is just a $15 from ebay. Makes shifting SO fun and SO fast, its sooo great shifting is so tight now, gears just fall into place. I have a GReddy weighted shift **** too, and idk if it makes THAT much of a difference, but i'm totally satisfied with mine

^I thought Skunk 2 was considered the best one for a civic? Mine's a cheap Ebay shifter, it's almost IN the console... lol, I need a new one.

Anyway, back on topic. For suspension, it all depends on what kind of ride you're looking for, if you want something aggressive that handles tightly, Ground Control coilovers and Koni Yellow shocks are considered one of the best options for civics. If you just want a comfortable ride with slightly better performance for a good price, try something like the Tokico HP setup, I have that on my car and it works well (Though I'd prefer something more aggressive) Use the search feature on this forum and you'll find all the answers you're looking for.

This sounds like a problem with something other than the shifter...
