Cool who will win?

Ok I just got a 2004 honda civic si with a 5 speed manual. My brother has a 2006 mazda 3 gt. He has been talking about how his mazda will smoke me. He has a 2.3 litre engine and more ponnies than me but the my civic handles a hell of alot better (imo). also the mazda is limmited to 180/ kph. I took my civic up to 150 kph on the test drive lol i still had lots left!! He has too much torque of the line so I think if we start off at about 50 kph I may have a chance. Before anyone gives me **** about street racing this will probably never happend but its still fun to talk smack about his ride. Anybody think I have a chance in hell of talking the mazda ???

Honestly, he'll probably take you but it very well could be a driver's race. He has both power and torque over you, he weighs a tiny bit more than you, and your civic is limited to about the same top speed as he is (btw, the mazda 3 is limited to 190kph); I know the USDM civics are governed to around 115-125mph or 185-201kph, so I'd assume the CDM civics are about the same.

Also, his suspension is a front macpherson strut setup with a rear multilink design, disc brakes at all four corners, and both front and rear sway bars from the factory. Weights being equal (which they more or less are), the mazda 3 will handle just as well if not out-handle your civic.

so with all that said I think the only thing to do here is TURBO setup. Ensure victory!

Just slash his tires before the race. You'll have your victory.

not really, we're just being realistic. Also, for the record, your engine stops making usable power at 6300rpm, so there's no point in revving it past that.

Some civics would blow him out, just not yours. Your generation of civics just dont have a mod friendly motor. Only civic worth buying after 2000 is an Si Hatch in my opinion.

Your car won't break the 100mph mark in the 1/4 mile and you shouldn't be racing anywhere else.

Mazda wins

and roll racing is retarded, stop being "that guy"
