Default Is it worth it?

I have really wanted a 2000 civic Si forever. I wasnt complaining with the EX that I got though. So far I havent put too much work or moeny into it, but before I do, I think I want to sell it, then save up money and get a 2000 si. What do you think. I can probably get $6000 for my car, then get a loan for $4000, and pay it off in about a year. $10,000 for an Si. So is all of this a good idea?

^ +1 on that. Stick with the EX and boost it to hell and back. Hell for another grand you could supercharge it and get it tuned.

The b16 is not nearly worth the extra 4 grand you'll be paying

haha blackmetal i think everyone and there mothers want an '00 SI. IMO the best all-around Civic ever made (maybe not perfromance-wise compared to the '07 SI, but w/e). I say find somebody that has a 00 SI for sale and will hold it for you for a few months. That way once you sell your EX you wont be stranded without a car. I say go for it, but if you can really save up $4000 relatively easy, boost that EX, you wont regret that etiher man.

its not just the motor that I like about it. I like the cluster, I like the Si badge, it has better suspension, I can get a black one like i wanted and so on. you can still use 87 octane with an si right?

well black is my favorite color. 2000 si is my favorite car. It was going to take too much time converting my ex into an si
