Default Would you change for this?

Hi eveybody for the moment I've got a 2001 1.7 civic coupe (125 bhp) with 52 195 miles, leather interior, airco and all the stuff. But I'm looking to trade it in because of high insurance (it's on the list of sportcars here in Belgium) and it's mileage it uses 2.64 gallons on 62 miles (in metric unites 10.5 liters per 100 kilometers)
I've found a 2002 civic 1.6i (81 kw / 110 bhp) with 23 052 miles from April 2002, but I feel like my current car is worth more USD then the 1.6i so maybe someone has some ideas what I can bargain for when I go down to the carshop to talk about a trade-in. What do you guys think

the SI is going to be a sports car too...at least it should because it uses a B16 wich has WAY more power than your d17.....and its going to be harder on fuel than your current car. and unless your car is in super awesome condition and the si is a complete piece of crap....your car isnt worth more than the SI. if you do still decide to get the SI, then you prolly going to have to trade and pay some cash on top...obviously try to work it so you have to pay as little as possible...good luck.

Hi, thanks for the replies.

I don't know if it matters for the engine but it's the european (belgian) edition. Luckely for me my current coupé is in excellent condition, if you wouldn't know when it was made you would guess it was 2, 3 years old tops. So I'm still hoping to just trade it in, but my local cardealer is going to make me an offer today, I'll keep you guys posted.

You're right, we got the following models to choose from, the topmodel being the type R with 200 horses under the hood.

As I mentioned before the blue car is a 110 horsepower 1.6 with a type R spoiler kit, do you guys still think it's worth more than my 1.7 coupé now that it's clear that it isn't a si?
