made a diy camera mount today for 10 bucks. just some wood and screws, drill a few holes and your in business. went to the perris track for the first time, got to do a lot of runs sence theres only one session and its 50 bucks for 3 hours. with the new to me camera i ran out of space part way threw but i ended up with a best lap of 52.5. here a clip i put up really quick. check the lift off over steer at :43. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XkZ9jSCwjGE

went to the track tonight, ran a 49.9 with another turn added in place of the front stright. so compared to to my other times it probably was a 48. was the fastest of the first session by about a half second, against an evo, wrx, miata and mustang. heres the first video i uploaded, had to with the lift off over steer at the end (watch the wheel, it had to be close to 45 degrees sideways). http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uTSAKk10A9c . also found a guy who sells a 96-98 front end and not just the 99-00 front end, so im going to call him and see whats up thursday.

 

PROJECT 666 LIVES UP TO ITS NAME, car was broken into last night when visiting a friend in esco, my gps and ipod got stolen but lucky for me they didnt take the hx rims with the rt615k's that where in the trunk (i know they looked cus it was open). i need to go to the track tonight to blow off some steam, what a week...

 

Wow that sucks man...I haven't really had that great of a week/semester either so I feel ur frustration (even though mine might not be aimed toward something as serious as this, sorry). Goodluck at the track and with dealing with the whole break in incident.

 

I hate thieves lol. It is bad here in Milwaukee, my dad is a police officer for West Allis (where I live, it is pretty much Milwaukee) and tells me like every day "96 Integra got stolen lat night", and it is multiple times a week he tells me of a Honda that gets stolen. It really worries me, multiple people I know have had heir cars stolen. Most found the shells gutted, friend of my with a boosted ek hatch never got it back... it has been like 8 monthes. And for a Honda to be stolen just about every day in Milwaukee in WINTER is scarey, I'm legit worried for summer this year. With all the time and money in my car I couldn't imagine it being stolen. But there's only so much you can do to prevent it. My friend's shop will be putting in a Viper alarm for me, and I am wiring in MULTIPLE kill switches as well as taking my ecu out of the car every night or when I am at a highly populated place (i.e. movies, events, malls, etc.)
