new thread idea
i have a idea for a thread..alot of the time people ask for how to fix things or sultions for stuff and alot of people reply of different ways to fix whatever, BUT the person who posted the question never usually replays and says what the solution was..so the thead idea is like "PROBLEM/SOLUTION" , and you just write what your problem was in the "subject" and in the body you put how you fixed the problem, no replys alowed (we'll you could if you wanted)
i think its a great idea, people could get referred to that section alot lol....if no one likes it, you can thow it out, just trying to help out

Isn't that kinda like the tech archive that no one uses? I do like the idea though, it'll help newbs w/ problems and the rest of us who come across something and hopefully could help cut down on multiple posts about the same subject.

RE: new thread idea
I vote for a comprehensive HP mod guide. You guys did well with the I/H/E stuff... but how about going farther? It would save a lot of repeat questions. Back when I had my dodge, I made a 5 page long comprehensive list of what steps to take (and it what order) and how much power it made.
Maybe there is a thread around here like that, but I haven't found it.

RE: new thread idea
I made a list of 7th gen mods you can purchase specifically for the 7th gen in one of the engine/internal threads, as for how much HP, that will only give a rough idea, every engine and every company's products will produce different HP curves, etc. I do plan on taking my D17 as far as I can go, but that takes money and that's something I'm short on right now...
