As bad as I want to give HCF my money, it doesn't seem possible at the moment - I mean digitally possible, not financially. No link appears in the top right on any of my HCF pages, or anywhere else. I've tried at work to with the same (lack of) results. Please help, and thanks.

Yea that definitely sounds like a good idea. I'll donate a few bucks (idk, $20?) to HCF once the link is there.

 

Question: What would this money go towards?

I remember when I use to play games for my old clan back in the day if you donated money it went into an account, but that account was only useable towards the website or game servers and cannot be pulled out to fill someones pockets. Are we going to have any remotely like that so we're not filling someone else's pockets?

 

it pays to keep the website, it's basically the same thing sponsors do, except you're not advertising anything.

 

I'll put as much as I want in my pocket....small pennance for dealing with you twits all the time....









Just kidding, 100% of money donated goes to the forum. With enough donations, we may even be able to organize some give aways.

 

Maybe the donations could be used for a monthly/quarterly prize for best car. Could alternate between best engine bay looks or engine setup, best interior, best exterior, funniest ricer photo submitted, etc. Winners could have a choice of sponsor donated product or cash from donations. I know other forums give membership status for a donation as well. IMO, a contest would be a good way to promote this cool site. If noobs like me donated $5-10 would it build up to a decent prize over a month or quarter?
