I would like my account to be deleted. However, it appears that is not allowed on this site.

Instead, can my username be changed? If so, please advise of the process to change it.

If you do not want to be a part of the forum any longer, just click sign out and that's that.

I think only admin can change user names. If you want your account "deleted", why do you want a new user name then?

 

I'm not sure of what's not being understood.

Your site has a policy which states that accounts will not be deleted, regardless of the fact that I prefer my account deleted.

However, since this is your policy, I asked if I may be granted a username change.

In the least bit, I should be able to make an honest, cordial request of the forum (as I did) and not be met with the tone of your response and question session.

If you're going to honor my request or not, please advise.

I think only admin can change user names.....as I mentioned before. Lets hope one of them see's this and helps you out. I don't see them post too often, but they are in the background lurking around.

Why are you telling me there is a tone to my text? You must be reading it with the thoughts I am being arrogant or something. Anything via text can be mixed up because of this. Read it for what is it, that's all. If it is better I can put smileys on the end of all my sentences so you don't feel threatened, kay?

You want to change your name why? So someone else can sign up as "LoungeLover"?

You'll have to get an admin to change it ...How do I know this.? I am an admin on 3 other car forums..

Click the contact is link in the bottom right corner is you are so adament about having your account deleted. Moderators cannot do this I believe.
