i am new here, obviously. and havent had much of a welcome, boo hoo. maybe because i havent posted any pics yet and most people figure i'm full of **** like most of the people i am seeing on here. on that subject.... where are all the pics? i see so many people bragging about all the stuff their cars have or can do. i click there profile and voila! nothing. i see the most recent threads they viewed or replied to and where they live. thats it. am i doing something wrong? or does no one have any pics to post? appreciate some help here.

by the way. i am offshore right now (oil rig dispatcher) and will post pics as soon as i get home so dont think i am like everyone else. i will make a notice on the new members page when i do. f.y.i.

ok i feel dumb, i found the photo gallery. most definitely some gangsta rides in there. i have a new question though. how do i earn 1st, 2nd, 3rd gear status - and on up? is it based on amount of posts you make?


also..... is it just me or is se7ensectoolate full of bs? he claims to have a 10 second car but, alas, no pics of motor, not pic of slip. hmmm, sounds suspiscious. he talks alot of smack and seems hypocritical, i saw his "10 sec civic" all he shows are 4 pics of a new civic with aftermarket headlights and aftermarket exhaust. go see for yourself, you decide

 

he never says its a 10 second car, he says high 11s. and he has posted a timeslip. dont remember where though.

 

Sacicons is right, it runs high 11s. The car has had some downtime, due to a rebuild (see "Civic takes down an Evo 8 thread). I have the 11.98 @ 119 timeslip on the internet somewhere, I just have to find it. It only is stock on the outside. It's a sleeper. K20A2 fed by a Turbonetics T61 with a T63 impeller. It serves me no purpose if I post pictures all over the place on a public forum where anyone can see it. I've described my setup in detail to a select few. I might post an engine picture in my profile for a brief time, but any details on the car I'd rather not be displayed on a public forum. It's bad enough that I've spilled a timeslip. I'm going to the track with a cameraman in the next week or so. I will post a video to dispell the myth and silence my critics.

 

ok se7ensectoolate, i call a truce. or accept whatever the case may be. i dont know you, and honestly some of the things you said in some of the threads grated on me. i guess i was annoyed. anyhow, i am not here to create problems or stir sh*t. since you are willing to drop all of this i am too. let bygones be bygones. i stand corrected as well about my saying you were claiming 10's. i should study up before speaking.

now, if someone could answer the first part of that thread or box, i dont know the terms yet here, i'm the newbie, remember? i asked how do i go about earning gear status: 1st on up?
