Will posting increase my member status?

Default Will posting increase my member status?
I am a junior member, just joined yesterday (June 27th 2012). Most people are labeled "HCF Member" and can have a bigger profile picture and avatar. Wondering what I have to do to get that status.

As for the profile picture/avatar, it can only be of a certain size. You will get HCF Member once your posts gets to a specific amount. I have no idea what that magic number is though. Maybe 100?

I just noticed at 27 posts that I am now an "HCF Member"! Perhaps the magic number was 25 posts?

Most likely, yes. You also need 25 posts to start threads in the Classified sections.
