WTF im geting TONS of LINKBACK emails... how to disable

WTF im geting TONS of LINKBACK emails... how to disable
i just started to get dozens of LINKBACK emails how do i remove this email notification for these LINKBACKS? i keep getting them really bad in the last 10mins!

i know i just got like 30+emails and they still comin! my phones going nuts with email alerts almost non stop!
i see how linkbacks might be good to keep people from saying its there work but really i dont care with my own work if somebody tries to link or say they even did it. i just want to disable this feature for me so it stops blowing up my email!
i get it already ALOT of people are linking to my DIY and other threads and such... but they still comin hard! im around 50+now! i dont want to hear this alerts all night long and end up having 500+ emails to clean out tomorrow morning!
PLEASE MODS HOW CAN I DISABLE THIS THING YOU JUST DID?

I'm sorry, guys. That was my fault.
Linkbacks are a new-ish feature that was added many months ago. Except, no one told us about them. They have to be approved too. I was in the mod control panel the other day and saw a backlog of like 40+ pages with 15 or so on each page... So, I spent like 45 minutes going through and approving most of them and deleting several spam ones. I didn't realize it sent the thread owner an email.
Basically, any time someone outside of HCF links to a thread of yours, you'll get a notification (once someone approves it). This might help give you some warm fuzzy feelings when you see that others around the world are reading something you wrote and using it to help themselves and others. I did notice lots of linkbacks to the OEM fog light install DIY by Marcus and several help topics by Ron, for example. So, I could see there being hundreds of emails...
Again, my apologies. Won't happen again. (We won't let the backlog get like that again.) You two may get 5 a month or less from now on. If it helps, I also got an email when I approved each of them. So I had about 400 or so to delete as well. (I feel your pain!) I haven't figured out how to turn off the notifications yet.

o ok. well as long as it stopped spamming.LOL
i got alot with the fog lights, the fuel pump kill switch, and my dash swap, 96 civic rebuild. they just kept coming that day.lol
