i am buying some l.e.d.'s for my gauages ( to get rid of the ugly stock color ) - i know these are 194 bulbs but what about the climate control ***** and the 3 buttons under them? ac, defrost and somethin else. also, what about the fog lights button and cruise? somebody please help me as to what size bulbs i need. thanks

 

the cruise, and climate control buttons(the ones that go green or amber when pressed) are leds, as for the climate control itself i can't remember it is something like 2015 i can't remember exactly(well that is for an EG anyway so i don't about the other models)

 

can anybody give me a link or anything or does anybody know 4sure what the climate control bulbs are and the fog/cruise control bulbs? i got a 2000 si. i thought they were all 194's though...guess not. please help!!

 

just take it apart, take out the bulbs, drive to the store with them out..buy new ones, go home and put them in..thats the only thing i can think of so this way you deffinilty no your getting the right bulb

 

They sure aren't. They're all bulbs.

I just ordered 100 LEDs off ebay for like $6... I'll just grab some 510 ohm resistors from a lab around here so they'll run at 12-16V and custom install them in my dash.

If you want to wait, I'll be selling the extras with instructions on how to convert everything over for really cheap once I get mine done.

Oh, they're not specific sizes, just generic LEDs with leads on them.

 

sweet thinking... i was thinking a while back how to convert my tail lights into leds. but i gave up after getting stumped on the brake lights needing to be brighter. it would have to have two sets of lights mabie... and then i told myself it was too much work.

 

why does the brake light need to be brighter? law? don't they make tail lights that come with leds in them or something? i am sure I have seen that somewhere.... sorry to threadjack, but I've wanted to ask that for quite a while. I'll be tinting my tail ligts and would like to know how to make them brighter to compensate for the tint.

 

you really cant make them too much brighter. the bulbs would get too hott and burn out. you can add more bulbs though.

 

the cruise control bulbs are REALLY small....there are 2 of them.... all they say are P1 and P12. i cant find these small ones. as far as the climate control stuff goes, i have no clue on that either, but i might try and figure it out after school tomorrow.

 

oh, by the way, if i change out my license plate bulbs to BLUE, is it illegal, will a cop stop me??
