I also have been thinking about something to do here. I was thinking of making a custom cover of plexie glass and painting it black except for the letters Civic(with the back wards c) and having it illuminate green through it. but im not sure if I like that idea. But I agree the tape player needs to go i don't liek it either. I think they sell liek anapkin holder that fits right in fo the models that don't have a tape player. wich i also though of. but i know that with my habbits it would be come cluttered with random things and make a mess and i don't liek having a mess in sight.

go to one of the following:

and search for part # 77299-S04-000ZA

This is the OEM pocket that goes there in the DX models with AM/FM... should run about $8 plus shipping or so. Or call your local dealer to buy said part.

Other options include trying to hunt down a blank plate for those standardized aftermarket radio installs. It's the same size as a single DIN radio.

Yeah that look sick. I'm more for the custom looking things like that then the pocket. I thought of doing a board liek that with switches for radom things liekmy interior lights and halos and what not also. But those switches are already soemwhere else.

A friend of mine used to work at a car dealership... he said a car that was returned had it in there... and no one ever claimed it... so he sold it to me for 50. Normally it would cost around 70-80 bucks.
