so i was sitting in class and i realized that i never have see the arial atom posted on this site. my friends and i have been aware of the atom for a bit now and have even seen it in person on the road in chicago. It runs a track faster then most any car you can think of including the Zonda, any lambo, porcshe gt3, m12. oh by the way, it runs off te b16b motor(civic type-r)
Yeah, bit of a repost. Its stranges I have been waiting for Aerial to realise this car since they annoced the it. Now its here, everyone has suddenly jumped on the ride of, I really want one. It is however, an enginering master piece.
Yeh, I hear so many people say "I want an Arial Atom" or "I'm gonna get one", but I doubt very many people will seriously buy one. Maybe Jay Leno and people rich like him, but cmon, can you see yourself driving an Arial Atom in the winter with your spouse waiting and looking for a place to sit?

it wouldnt be street legal in the US tho. it doesnt have any bumpers
It is completely street legal in the US. Im in the UK and its street legal and I saw a interview with the creator of the car. Hes shipping 100 to LA this year. and they have all been purchased. You have to pay £1200 for the street kit which gives it that arrow type carbon fibre hood and some other bits and pieces.
well the car is 22,000 pounds to start with, thatd put the total at getting one super impractical car thats street legal in the US at 23,200 pounds, which, for that money, id rather have something a LITTLE bit more practical (like the C6 vette
