what does the evo "mr" stand for
my friend has a mitsubishi lancer, he thinkins the mr stands for mid rear engine or some crap like that like the mr2. i was like since wen does an evo have a rear engine??? i think it stands for mitsubishi racing, am i wrong??? if someone knows can they tell me cause i wanna make him feel stupid

Tell your friend that just because MR means mid-engine rear wheel drive in the GT series doesn't mean every MR means that. Also, it should be fairly obvious that the engine in an Evo is not located in the back of the car....
