My 03 Civic EX has 150K miles on it and has never given me any problem. Except this morning. Bottom line it was slightly hard to start this morning and when it did, and I let off the gas the engine died. No sputtering or anything. RPM's just went straight to zero. Have a 25 mile drive to work and at every stop light had to work the brake and clutch, and the gas pedal to keep the rpms up a bit so it wouldn't stall out. When moving it ran fine as usual, no problem at all. By the time I got to work the problem went away. Turned the car off and back on and it was fine. Now hopefully it will work fine when I leave. Does anyone have any idea what could cause this? I have never done anything to the engine, except the 100k mile tune up (timing belt/sparkplugs), and put a KNN air filter in it, and a bottle of SeaFoam about 10K miles ago. Have use full synthetic oil in it since I bought it new. So other than that nothing has been done to the engine. Thanks for any and all advice!

depending on what plugs you used your most likely need new ones.try cleaning out the IACV valve and see if that helps.you could check to make sure your alternator is working properly. i believe your due for new oxygen sensors also. here is a diy to help you out.
