1999 civic ex cooling problem

I told you my current theory-- bad contact in the switch plug.

The switch is new and there is no damage to the plug connection. Where you jump it,it is a female connection.The male connection is on the switch and there is no reason that I can think of to jump it there,but thank's

OK finally broke down and got a temp switch from honda.UNBELIEVEABLE all works as it should,fan kick's on like it should. This is the 3rd the first 2 were from n**a. never again on the stuff. Thank you all for your input and support it really did help isolate the problem. We can now consider this thread closed. Guz

so you got an oem switch and everything worked. this means that 3rd party temp switches are not necessarily trustworthy. thanks. i'll keep this in mind for future reference.
