I had my mechanic friend scan the check engine. He said it was the idle control valve that was the issue. I changed it out and it ran well for about 1,000 miles and then it popped back on. I exchanged the part and reset the light. A week later it is back on. I clean out the throttle body as well as switch it back to the stock intake. Has anyone else had a similar issue and how did you resolve it?

When the light is on it runs super rough at low RPM or when I am shifting it. I think I lost a filling it bucks so hard. the RPM are super high and they don't drop below 1,400 or so.
