Default Replacing heater fan motor

How hard is it to replace the fan motor for the heater/AC?? Themotor that I taking about is on the passenger side under the glove box. Mine died the other day, and I pulled the screws that hold the motor, but the squirrel cage is attached to the motor and doesn't look like fun getting it out. I have not had a chance to work on it anymore, but am I going to have to take half the dash apart to get it????

Default RE: Replacing heater fan motor

Have you ruled out fuse 19 and the switch as being the problem?

For more information, download service manual here: http://hondatech.info/downloads/Auto/Manuals/Civic/

For motor removal, you'll probably want to avoid taking out the A/C evaporator if at all possible (see pictures).
