Default 2002 EX, Trunk Leaking Water

My 2002 EX is leaking water into the trunk. I've inspected the weather stripping and it all looks great. I've noticed when I shut the truck, it shuts securely, but has a little bit of spring to it and isn't staying all the way shut. If I push down on it, it has some play. Is that adjustable in any way?

It appears the latch isn't holding the truck all the way down against the weather stripping and when it rains the water is getting between the trunk lid and the weather stripping.

You can play around with the alignment of the latch striker on the underside of the trunk lid

an easy way to find a leak in a trunk , is to give a friend a flashlight then shove him in the trunk & shut it, then get a garden hose & spray around the trunk starting at the bottom & work your way up, when he screams .....you found your leak

dont laugh, my ex boss did this to me a few times .... it works
