Hopefully, no codes will return, but you'll need to drive and see what happens.

OK, after four days of driving the service engine light returned. Went to Autozone and it read P1457. It has a new fuel cap and I can hear the suction when I remove it from the tank.
So I guess that leaves the vapor canister, vent solenoid or purge solenoid. Are these all one item or are they separate. And how do I tell which one it is? Is this an item I ( not a mechanic anymore because of age) can possibly change myself, or should I have my mechanic do it. How much should I expect to pay for this procedure?
