Default 2005 civic headlight problem

hey ... my 2005 Honda Civic LX keeps blowing out the passenger side headlight each year - does anyone know if this is an electrical problem or if they've know if there's been any recalls on this ? THX

That model has halogen, not HID bulbs, right? The only thing that would cause premature burnout would be excessive voltage, which would affect the whole car, or lousy bulbs (I'm looking at you, Sylvania/Philips). Or the headlamp is not mounted securely, causing the bulb to get shaken to death, or there is a hole in the front letting water get in.
