About two months back I thought my battery died out of the blue. Got it replaced, everything ran just fine until about 2-3 days ago. Absolutely nothing on the ignition attempt. Jumped it fine, drove 200-300 miles over those days. Same problem upon ignition comes up today. Jump it again, but when I left it running, hood started making a sort of wheezing/fire extinguisher sound and some light smoke came out. AC was acting a bit funny over that time too (would run intermittently). I'm thinking a seized alternator pulley, but that sounds pretty odd considering it's only got 33k miles on it. Thoughts?

Is everything spinning now?

The charging system test is to get the car started and measure the voltage at the battery with the engine idling but everything else off. If it's less than 13.5 volts or so the charging system is not working.
