Default 2015 Civic...Put in park while moving

Had a bit of an emergency the other day and had to pull over at the side of the road... I was not going too fast maybe around three miles per hour but in the rush of the situation as I was slowing down I put the car in park as I was coming to a stop and heard a clicking noise....the car didn't jerk or anything but I am worried I may have messed up something with the transmisson?

It's a 2015 Civic automatic...I know this is really bad to do on a normal transmission but what was wondering how it would affect a CVT?

In an automatic doing it one time won't do anything. cvt transmission i don't know but i would think it didn't do anything, if your transmission is still shifting fine and smooth. If not then you probably did something.
