Question about main relay diagram. Just took mine out of 92 civic. If I orient it as in the diagram here I have:

8 6 2
7 5 3 1

There is no 4, but there is a six. Another site has your diagram with instructions on how to test the relay. But I can't since I have no pin 4. What gives?

A '92 uses a different relay. Don't use the diagram above, it's for a '91. The Civic was pretty much entirely redesigned in model year 1992. From 1992 to 1995, the relay and wiring is the same.

are you having problems with your main relay? if so open it and look at the soldering points really good for hair line cracks it may need resoldering and that will fix it.

And I agree with '94, if you think the relay may be bad, just crack it open and resolder, plug it back in and try the car again. Resoldering will fix almost all of them.
