i have a 96 civic lx 5 speed and kind of all of a sudden its bogging down on me and not accelerating. about a week ago i was driving and noticed it was taking forever to get through first and second gear. Now its so bad i couldnt even make it up the hill next to my house. when the car is under any kind of load it doesnt want to move and my rpms go nowhere but in neutral the engine revs fine and normal. the worst part is it is not throwing any codes on the dash. i had a check engine light on for an o2 sensor that i had to run back to before my test pipe but after i did that and removed the battery terminal that went away. i dont know what to do. i tried changing the speed sensor and that didnt work. anyone have any ideas?
