Default 98 honda civic electrical problems

Was wondering if anybody ever heard of this problem. My car won't turn on. I turn the key and everything turns on. then when i try to start the engine, i hear a couple clicks and everything cuts off. Its done this before and i would just wiggle the connectors to the positive terminal of the battery and it would be good. Now it just doesn't work. Anyone got any ideas.

Take the connectors off entirely and scrape clean the inner surface that touches the battery post as well as the battery post. Then loosen the nut completely and push them all the way down before tightening the nut. You should have some battery post showing above the top of the connector.

Always disconnect the negative (-) one first and reconnect it last. Be careful not to touch any metal parts with the other end of your wrench.
