Question 99newfcivic

heater blower not working in any control position. fuses ok.

With everything plugged in, key on, and switch on high, test at the blower motor. Probe each wire measuring voltage to ground.

Both wires 12 volts-- probably the power transistor. Make sure other functions of the control panel work, such as running the motor that selects the air outlet.
One wire 12 volts, one near zero -- motor is bad.
Both wires zero -- no power from the fuse and relay under the hood.

thanks loads for the troubleshooting info. 12 volts on one lead--minimal volts on other. removed blower -- rusted and burnt. thanks again
