Bump after Bump..is this regular?
I got a 92 Civic with 184,000 miles on it..since I brought it about 4 months ago only thing I got under the car is the Rack & Pinion and inner & outer tie rods.
Anyway..I have noticed everytime I drive on any kind of road that's even slightly bumpy I can feel every bump throughout the whole car. I'm not too sure if this is regular...I also drive a 2002 Town & Country van and I can hardly feel anything on a bumpy road with it.(smooth driving).
Anyway....I'm thinking it might be because I got such small wheels(13's). or maybe it's because it's an 18 year old car. I've already did the "bounce on each corner of the car" test to make sure the shocks are good....seems to bounce back just fine....But is there something else I can do to lessen the bumps & rumbles I have to go through when I drive on rocks in the road as small as an lemonhead.
P.S: hope someone understands what I'm asking.

Small wheels will make you feel less bumps... smaller wheel = more tire.
Without experiencing this first hand it is pretty difficult to tell you if it is normal or not. Naturally, a new car is going to have a more comfortable ride, due to it being new, and in certain cases from newer suspension technology.
