1.6L SOHC vtec...i see in a schematic that there is an a/c thermostat. i've seen in threads that it is on the compressor and that i should discharge the system before replacing,but i can't find the threads again and can't find any info about the part itself. anyone know anything about this? this HAS to be what is wrong with my a/c at this point. everything else has been examined and cold air only gets real cold when it is cloudy or dark. when it is real hot out,there is very little cooling coming out. it seems that the settings on the a/c thermostat are shot or bad. a/c should come out like 35-40 degrees below ambient and when i checked it,it was maybe like 15? not cutting it in FL.
