Hi all....

New here.....

I have a 2008 coupe which when cold started sounds louder then normal, like it has an exhaust leak. The sound goes away when the car warms up. I have inspected the exhaust system and have not found any leaks. Dont know what else it could be...

Any ideas?

 

Is the sound something that you know wasn't always there?

Maybe have a friend start there car while you stand under the hood to try an identify where exactly the sound is coming from.

If it sounds like hissing air you might have some sort of vacuum leak. But if the car is running correctly (is it?) then that seems unlikely.
