Compatibility of engine and dizzy
96 Honda? (its been heavily modified)
Engine: D16Z6
Dizzy: TD80U
Head: P08-4
ECU: P28-A52
Intake: P08 HF1 4512
No spark from coil.
Getting power to coil. (Here is how ours is wired up inside.)
Swapped coils, still no spark to plugs.
I do not have a test light, volt/ohms meter, spark tester, etc.
Car was running fine, pulled into garage and swapped head/intake.
Cranks but no start.
No CEL.
Fuses and relays check out. (fully unknown)
Been experiencing issues with ECU's as they tend to BURN OUT. Have several ECU's, tried swapping those in, no spark.
ECU is currently sitting in the floorboard.
Checked main relay under driver side dash, contacts appear to have perfect connections.

Distributor must rotate (timing belt / coupling to camshaft) to trigger sparks. If the CEL does the bulb test on for 2 seconds then out when you turn key on but don't crank, ECU is usually OK. Also of course pull codes.

No check engine light on atm but I could still get the read out.
The vehicle cranks, just doesnt start cause of no spark.
The ecu's are literally burning out. Ive had on board components heat up, melt, etc.
I will check for CEL length when turning it on to check current ecu.

Checked the CEL codes. I got code 15. I have had the ignition module tested at my local AutoZone. I do believe I am getting this code atm cause the dizzy is disconnected. Update later.

You must have something mis-wired to be actually burning out stuff. I think code 15 is a fault inside the ECU it doesn't matter if an ICM is connected or not.
Yes both sides of the coil primary will show 12 volts with the ignition on. The ICM pulls the - side to ground and then lets it go to fire each spark. It is such a brief pulse you won't see it on a voltmeter.
