Default Will This Work

I have a 2001 honda civic EX. I just wrecked it and my brotheris selling me his 94 civic. I was wondering if i could swap motors and transmission to make it a standard. And how hard could it be.

lots of work and special motor swap mounts and wiring sure.
but thats quite a bit of work and you should do your research with the swap before you buy or decide anything!

dont just jump into it and start riping them both apart.... that is where most people fail the hardest and when they run into there first problem they ditch the whole idea and part both cars out!
hell i bought parts for my civic from a guy that did a motor swap to a simple DOHC motor and couldnt get it running right so he parted the car out completely.

but at least i got a good deal on the parts i wanted. LOL

Well the '94 is OBDI with a D15 and the 2001 is OBDII with a D17. More work then worth it IMHO especially with the POS D17 motor.

Could also be a d16z6 in the 94. He didn't specify which trim the car is.
