Was drining and then everything goes dead on the dash...cars still running fine...then, voila, dash back on. Drive home fine. Next morning (and passing the same spot!!!!) SAME THINKG happens! Thinking X-Files stuff here but any other answers? Thanks guys...

 

It might be your fuse.

 

what was the area taht you drove through?? was it just an open area, or is there actually something there? like a production plant of some sort, or a power plant... could be some sort of crazy stuff going on in there that is causing it...

 

do you have a big sound install in your car?

 

Check your fuses to see if they are OK or Loose. Also check your harness where it plugs into cluster to see if it is plugged in good.. I have also seen the circuitry on back of cluster go bad. But it is rare.
