Dual Port TB Fuel system problem ~ Can anyone help PLEASE?
I have a 91 Civic 2dr HB with the 1.5L engine with a 4sp Manual Tranny. After the car warms up, If the engine is switched off, and I attempt to restart, the car turns and turns but never starts, engine light comes on, and codes a 16 on the flasher under the pass. side carpet. I started troubleshooting, and ended up replacing the fuel filter and the injectors ($160 parts). The problem still happens. Could this be the pressure regulator or maybe the injector resistor? I know the 1.6 MPI has a Injector Resistor Module, but I am having problems locating this on my 1.5L. Does it exist, where is it located? Has anyone had this problem before? Oh, this is the dual stage injection throttle body system.
Please help, I want to get this car on the road, soon. I can't afford to play a mech to find and fix this issue.
