fuel injection upgrade
I have a 1990 honda civic with the d15 engine out of a 96 (or at least thats what the seller told me it was out of).
I am currently using the intake out of the original engine. I want to use the intake that camee with the 96. Do I need to change the computer? If so what computer do I need ?
If this intake won't work then is there a combination that will?

Search for DPFI to MPFI conversion. Most people use an OBD1 computer from a 1992 to 1995 because it is simpler than the OBDII system introduced in 1996. If your manifold has a 2 wire IACV it should be compatible with OBD1. You will still need to replace the distributor and several other parts.
I thought all the 1996 up had a D16 engine.

The engine that was in the car originally was a D15 B1 4610771. Don't know if those last #s mean anything. Will get the code off the current engine as its currently broken down at work.
The engine in the car is a D15B
